Project P.I.T.T. Map Guide: Maw Floor, Cameras, Catwalks, and Secret Ending Route
Explore the Project P.I.T.T. map: factory floor, cameras, upstairs puzzles, Gambling Crates, and the hidden ending path.
What the Project P.I.T.T. map actually is
The Project P.I.T.T. map is not an overworld with marked quests. Project PITT (also written Project P.I.T.T.) drops you into one brutalist workplace wrapped around a giant hole called The Maw. You are an intern. You make products, shove them into the pit, spend the cash on machines, and slowly unlock more of the same building.
That last part is easy to miss. The factory floor is only the first layer. Cameras, catwalks, dark rooms, delivery pipes, a 200 kg scale, and a later hidden gate all sit on the same map. Progress is less “go to the next zone” and more “disable the thing that is stopping you from climbing.”
The game is a first-person incremental physics sandbox from Froke (Fr0ke), published by Pretty Soon. It launched on Steam for Windows, Mac, and Linux on 19 August 2026. It is not a Roblox title, not an official Android build, and not The Pitt from Fallout. If you want the legitimate client, use the official Steam store page for Project PITT.
How the facility is laid out
Think of the map as a stack. The Maw sits in the middle of the main hall. Production machines, terminals, and your first lanes occupy the floor around it. Support pillars, walkways, and observation glass sit above. Side rooms and pipes hide extra loot. Later phases change the geometry, so a perfect lane can get crushed by scripted debris.
| Map layer | What you do there | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Maw floor | Spawn ducks, build lanes, dump combos | This is the entire economy |
| Pillars and cameras | Break or disable surveillance | Height lock stops climbing |
| Catwalks and fuse box | Install three fuses | Unlocks the upstairs weight puzzle |
| 200 kg platform | Stack mass, not item count | Opens the next grate or chute |
| Hidden 0% route | Later products, then clone/mining rooms | Leads toward the secret ending |
| Side rooms and pipes | Hunt Gambling Crates and dark-room loot | Achievement and extra cash |
The loop never really leaves this building. New tools appear in the terminal, The Maw grows, and rooms that looked decorative become usable. Community reports from early factory videos also stress that a short, enclosed path to The Maw is more important than decorating the whole hall.
Main floor: treat space like a conveyor, not a warehouse
Your first hours on the Project P.I.T.T. map happen within a few meters of The Maw. Rubber ducks come from the workbench, then from the Automater. Money comes from feeding them in a tight chain. A single expensive item is weaker than a fast streak.
That has map consequences. Long scenic routes leak products. Open corners let physics fling ducks into dead space. Standing in the Automater output can clog the shaft with your own body. A practical early layout is simple: machine, sticky-panel funnel, fan, Maw.
Community reports from production-focused players usually agree on a few spatial habits:
- Place fans immediately after spawners so items do not scatter across the floor.
- Tilt airflow toward The Maw instead of leaving fans flat.
- Buy sticky tools as soon as panels exist, or the line walks itself apart.
- Enclose high-speed sections on the sides and ceiling once craft speed rises.
- Keep one short axis if you want sustained throughput near 400 products per minute.
Those tips are player-tested, not official patch notes. They still explain why the map “feels small” at first: the profitable area is the shortest legal path into the hole.
| Early map goal | Typical tools | Common mistake |
|---|---|---|
| First dump and shop unlock | Hands, throw upgrade, broom | Feeding singles with no pile |
| Passive income | Automater, one fan, short chute | Building a maze before sticky tools |
| Combo x100 / x200 | Barrier, golf club, or magnet pile | Gaps that drop the chain |
| Exploration while idle | Existing lane plus a duck launcher | Climbing before cameras are down |
Leave room to rebuild. Facility phases can drop debris onto your line. Stronger fans can shove some of that wreckage into The Maw, but most players simply reconstruct with the new kit.
Cameras, “I SEE YOU,” and how the vertical map opens
The upper Project P.I.T.T. map is gated by surveillance, not by a locked story door. Climb too high and a short countdown can end with I SEE YOU, then a position reset. The cameras are functional, not set dressing.
Two approaches show up consistently in walkthroughs:
- Use products as ammunition. A launcher or a diverted lane can break cameras.
- Find the lights on the ends of support pillars. Turning those nodes off can drop the height lock without smashing every lens.
Once the watcher system is quiet, held-object flight becomes a travel tool. Jumping while carrying something is an intended physics trick. It is how many players reach catwalks, fuse boxes, and the upstairs scale without a dedicated grappling item.
A figure can appear in the observation window. That beat is tied to the hidden BAD? and INVISIBLE? achievements: look at the watcher, or enter a formerly monitored space after cameras are down. Treat that as story texture on the same map, not a separate level.
Upstairs route: fuses, 200 kilograms, and the 0% gate
The most important mid-game map chain is upstairs.
- Reach the catwalks.
- Collect three fuses and seat all of them in the fuse box. UP? only pops after the third fuse, not after you merely touch the walkway.
- Use the platform marked 0/200 kg. The puzzle wants mass, not 200 objects. Gambling Crates, bumpers, remotes (about 1 kg each), or a panel box packed with heavy junk all work.
- Hitting 200 kg opens another grate, door, or chute.
A numbered percentage pipe nearby will sit at 0% if you feed it raw early ducks. That is expected. Later-phase or assembled products are the intended input. Do not assume the map is broken because the first duck does nothing.
Until that pipe and gate finish, stay on the upstairs puzzle. The secret-ending rooms behind the opened gate are a different problem.
Gambling Crates, dark rooms, and why you should explore early
GAMBLING! is a map hunt. Search the main floor, catwalks, delivery pipes, dark rooms after you restore their lights, and upstairs corners. Community reports say players often stall at 9/10 because they skip pipes or unlit rooms.
Do this before you casually hurl unidentified boxes into The Maw. The achievement is about finding the crates. Feeding mystery boxes can waste a collectible you still needed to register.
Exploration also pays while a lane runs itself. Hidden corners can hold cash, materials, or crates that accelerate upgrades. Cameras are the usual blocker; a well-aimed duck is often the key.
Useful movement notes for the same spaces:
- Unstuck in the pause menu is safer than restarting if you clip into geometry.
- Do not feed puzzle objects such as fuses into The Maw on purpose.
- If a bought tool falls in, repurchase it from the terminal when the shop allows.
Facility phases change the map under your feet
The Maw grows. When it does, the hall is not a static workshop. Scripted debris can land on your factory. That is not a bug. Rebuild with newly unlocked machines instead of defending one sacred layout.
Late products matter for more than money. Piñata candy is a strong feed once FIESTA! unlocks. Anomaly-tier items appear even later and are required for some hidden mechanisms, including the upstairs pipe. Assembly products are part of the same map progression, not a separate campaign.
A clean 100% path still uses this building in order: open the shop, automate the floor, grab messy-room achievements, then climb. Pause feeding for MESS! (500 loose products) and LAG! (1,000 loose products), clean up, and only then spend a long session hunting cameras, crates, and fuses. Performance on the same map gets worse if you leave a thousand ducks bouncing forever.
Beyond the hidden gate: secret rooms on the same map
After the 0% device reaches 100% and the gate opens, the Project P.I.T.T. map continues into a hidden route. Community write-ups of the secret ending describe a fixed order. If the gate is still shut, go back to the 200 kg / 0% steps.
Reported sequence once the gate is open:
- Enter and reach the clone room. Treat it as a tiny incremental game: clones loop, Energy appears, spend Energy on speed, production, and more clones until the progress counter hits 200. The Energy pile is currency; 200 is the real stop condition.
- Mine four product layers in factory order: Duck, Cash Register, Piñata, Anomaly. Finish each quota before leaving. Leave ledges so you can climb out.
- Take the UV Lamp and stop mining. Go back through earlier hidden spaces.
- Collect UV digits 0, 4, 6, and 2. Finding three of them is not enough.
- Keep the pickaxe. A UV pickaxe mark creates the Access Card.
- Enter 2640 on the elevator keypad only after you have the card.
- Stay on the elevator route until the Secret Ending screen.
That path is not the same as the main ending. END? is the first credits-style beat from feeding The Maw. END! needs remaining phases, assembly, upstairs work, and buying out the terminal. Completing the UV elevator route does not automatically explain the main ending.
First full clears in community reports sometimes took 13–14 hours, mostly from rebuilding factories and searching UV walls without knowing the order. The hidden route itself is shorter once the sequence is known.
A practical map checklist
Use this when you feel lost in the same room:
- Floor lane runs without you babysitting every duck.
- Cameras or pillar lights are handled before serious climbing.
- All Gambling Crates are logged, not just dumped.
- Three fuses are in the box.
- Scale reads 200 kg and the follow-up grate is open.
- Percentage pipe is fed with later or assembled products, not starter ducks.
- Piñata and Anomaly are purchased when they appear.
- If the hidden gate is open, finish clones → four mines → UV → Access Card → 2640.
The Project P.I.T.T. map rewards players who treat the hall as both a factory and a climbing puzzle. Keep The Maw fed, then spend the idle income on the vertical half of the building.
FAQ
Is the Project P.I.T.T. map a separate open world?
No. Project PITT uses one evolving facility around The Maw. New rooms, catwalks, and the secret gate are layers of that same workplace.
Why do I keep getting I SEE YOU when I climb?
Surveillance is still active. Break cameras with products or disable the lights on pillar ends before you use object-flight to reach the upper map.
Where do I go after the 200 kg scale?
Open the new grate, feed the percentage pipe with later-phase products until it hits 100%, then enter the hidden gate for the clone room and secret-ending route.
