Project P.I.T.T. Secrets Guide: Hidden Ending, UV Lamp, Code 2640
Every Project P.I.T.T. secret: hidden ending, clone room, UV clues, Access Card, elevator code 2640, and upstairs puzzles.
Project P.I.T.T. secrets, hidden items, and the real ending path
Project P.I.T.T. (also written Project PITT) hides most of its best content behind factory progression, upstairs puzzles, and a late-game route that looks nothing like the duck-feeding loop on the main floor. This guide covers the in-game secrets players actually search for: the clone room, the four mining layers, the UV Lamp, the Access Card, elevator code 2640, and the hidden achievements tied to cameras, crates, and The Maw.
“Cheats” here means official in-game secrets and community-reported puzzle order. There are no money trainers, debug money codes, or external hacks in this article.
The game is a first-person incremental physics sandbox from Froke (Fr0ke), published by Pretty Soon. You play an intern inside a brutalist plant built around a pit called The Maw. You manufacture products, dump them for money and combos, then buy tools that slowly unlock new rooms. The full release launched on Steam on 19 August 2026 for Windows, Mac, and Linux. Try the official Project PITT Steam page or the Steam / itch.io demo if you want a legitimate preview. It is not a Roblox title, not an Android APK, and not The Pitt from Fallout.
What counts as a secret in Project PITT
Most Project P.I.T.T. secrets sit on two tracks. The first track is facility exploration: fuses, the 200 kg scale, Gambling Crates, cameras, and the watcher behind the observation glass. The second track is the Secret Ending route that only starts after a hidden 0% gate finally opens.
Community reports say a first blind run can stretch to 13–14 hours, mostly because players rebuild factories, guess keypad codes too early, and mine past the UV Lamp. Once the order is known, the hidden route itself is much shorter.
| Secret or item | What it unlocks | When it appears |
|---|---|---|
| Three upstairs fuses | Fuse box, UP?, access toward the scale | After you reach the catwalks |
| 200 kg platform | Opens the next grate / chute, HEAVY? | After fuses are installed |
| 0% pipe / hidden gate | Entrance to the Secret Ending route | After 200 kg plus later products |
| Clone room | Incremental minigame to progress 200 | Immediately past the opened gate |
| Pickaxe + four ore layers | UV Lamp | After the clone counter finishes |
| UV Lamp | Hidden digits 0, 4, 6, 2 | After the Anomaly mining layer |
| UV pickaxe mark | Access Card | During the UV backtrack |
| Elevator keypad 2640 | Secret Ending path | After you hold the Access Card |
Do not start the Secret Ending until the hidden gate is open
The upstairs area is easy to treat like another factory puzzle. It is not. Finish the 200 kg platform and the 0% device first. The scale wants 200 kilograms of mass, not 200 objects. Community reports mention Gambling Crates, bumpers, remotes (about 1 kg each), or a sticky-panel crate packed with heavy junk.
The numbered pipe staying at 0% after you toss raw ducks is expected. That mechanism wants later-phase or assembled products, not starter rubber ducks. When the device hits 100% and the gate opens, stop optimizing the main floor and stay on the hidden route. If the gate is still shut, more Secret Ending steps will not help.
Clone room: treat it like a tiny incremental game
The first large chamber past the gate looks like a movement puzzle. It is not. Clones run a loop, finished loops create Energy, and you spend Energy on Speed, Production, and more Clones. Faster clones make more Energy, which buys more clones.
Watch the progress counter toward 200, not your Energy pile. Energy is only currency. Early Speed purchases matter because slow loops feel miserable. Once loops are already quick, extra Speed is a trap. Spend toward finishing 200.
One community-reported board near the end showed 196 / 200, 46 clones, about 5.9k Energy, and a best loop around 16.72 seconds. That is the moment to push the last points of progress instead of shaving another second. The room is done when the minigame resolves, not when the Energy bank looks huge.
Four mining layers, then stop for the UV Lamp
After the clone room, pick up the pickaxe and start mining. The shaft does not go forever. There are four product-themed layers, in the same order as the main factory:
- Duck
- Cash Register
- Piñata
- Anomaly
Each finished quota only unlocks the next layer. Leave a small staircase or ledges so you can climb back out. Do not abandon the room after the first quota.
The UV Lamp is the stop signal. Take it and go back. Do not keep mining, and do not hunt another factory upgrade. The lamp changes walls, symbols, and surfaces you already walked past.
UV digits, Access Card, and why the code is 2640
Scan the earlier upper route, walls around the old 200 kg area, the locked door / keypad zone, and any surface that looked suspicious before you had UV. The useful markings give four digits: 0, 4, 6, and 2.
Community reports say most players find 0, 4, and 6 first, then waste time on three-digit guesses. The last mark is 2. Write the digits down as you find them. The find order is not the keypad order.
Digits alone are not enough. Keep the UV Lamp on and look for a red pickaxe symbol. Bring the pickaxe to that mark and complete the interaction to create the Access Card. Keep the pickaxe after mining; the hidden route reuses it.
Return to the elevator keypad only after the card exists. The working code is 2640. A successful entry shows Access Granted and Elevator Override Accepted. If 2640 is rejected, you almost certainly lack the Access Card or skipped the UV pickaxe step. Do not go back to clones or remine.
Once the override is accepted, stay on the new route until the Secret Ending screen appears. You do not need more Anomalies or a rebuilt downstairs line for this ending.
| Step | Action | Stop condition |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Confirm the 0% gate is open | Gate is physically open |
| 2 | Enter the clone room | Progress counter hits 200 |
| 3 | Mine Duck → Cash Register → Piñata → Anomaly | UV Lamp drops |
| 4 | Backtrack with UV active | Digits 0, 4, 6, 2 collected |
| 5 | Use the UV pickaxe mark | Access Card created |
| 6 | Enter 2640 on the elevator | Override accepted |
| 7 | Follow the elevator path | Secret Ending text appears |
Other Project P.I.T.T. secrets worth grabbing early
Not every secret sits on the ending path. Gambling Crates should be hunted before you start yeeting mystery boxes into The Maw. The related achievement is tied to finding them, not feeding them. Search the main floor, catwalks, delivery pipes, dark rooms after you restore lights, and upstairs areas. Community reports of being stuck at 9/10 usually mean a pipe, a dark room, or an upper walkway was skipped.
Surveillance is another hidden thread. Climbing too high starts a short countdown and I SEE YOU. Break cameras by throwing products, or interact with the lights at the ends of support pillars to disable the height lock. A figure can appear in the observation window. That surveillance theme is tied to the hidden BAD? and INVISIBLE? achievements.
Held-object flight is an intended physics trick, not a glitch exploit in the trainer sense. Jumping while holding something lets you reach catwalks, fuse boxes, and the upstairs scale. If you clip into geometry, use Unstuck in the pause menu instead of wiping the save.
Useful secret-adjacent items on the main floor include the Remote (handy mass for the scale), Cash Register (needed for KACHING! and later interactions), Piñata + bat (candy counts as feed), magnets for huge combo dumps, and sticky panels for permanent lanes. Do not feed puzzle objects such as fuses into The Maw.
Hidden achievements versus the two endings
Steam tracks 23 achievements on a single save. The Secret Ending route and the Main Ending are separate. Seeing the Secret Ending screen means that hidden path is finished. It does not automatically explain or replace the main credits path.
Community reports sometimes mix up END? and END!. Treat the first statistics / credits sequence as the first ending, then keep playing through remaining phases, assembly products, upstairs work, and full terminal purchases for the second. If a badge stays locked after the Secret Ending text appears, that is an achievement-state problem, not a reason to replay the entire UV chain.
| Hidden goal | Community-reported trigger |
|---|---|
| BAD? | Watch the observation window when the figure appears, or trigger I SEE YOU |
| INVISIBLE? | Disable cameras / height lock, then enter a formerly watched area |
| HEAVY? | Put 200 kg on the upstairs scale |
| OPEN? | Use the grate, door, or chute that appears after fuses and weight |
| LOOP? | Feed the percentage pipe later-phase or assembled products, not raw ducks |
| SECRET? | Finish the full upstairs chain (fuses, scale, opened route, correct pipe) |
| END? | First ending / stats sequence after enough Maw feeding |
| END! | Continue after END? through remaining phases and purchases |
A practical 100% cleanup still includes combo targets (x100, x200, x300), 500 and 1,000 loose products, 15,000 lifetime feeds, 400 products per minute, one trillion dollars, every terminal purchase, and every crate. Those are long factory goals. They are not substitutes for the UV / 2640 route.
Common secret-route mistakes
Players lose the most time by mixing two problems. If the gate is closed, go back to mass and later products. If the gate is open, stay upstairs.
Other frequent mistakes:
- Treating the clone room as a parkour puzzle instead of an upgrade loop.
- Leaving the mine after the Duck layer.
- Searching UV walls forever after already having 0, 4, 6, and 2.
- Guessing keypad permutations without the Access Card.
- Throwing the pickaxe away after mining.
- Feeding unidentified Gambling Crates before the crate hunt is done.
- Using starter ducks in the 0% pipe.
- Rebuilding the main factory after 2640 already worked.
Scripted phase changes can smash a downstairs line. That is not a secret bug. Rebuild with the new tools. Stronger fans can shove some debris into The Maw.
FAQ
What is the Project P.I.T.T. elevator code? The working code is 2640, but only after you finish mining, collect the UV digits, and craft the Access Card from the UV pickaxe mark. Without the card, the keypad will keep rejecting inputs.
Is the Secret Ending the same as END? or END!? No. The Secret Ending is the hidden elevator route described above. END? and END! are tracked separately as the main ending sequence. Completing one does not automatically complete the other.
Are there real cheats or money hacks for Project PITT? Not in any official or legitimate sense. The useful “cheats” are in-game: object flight, Unstuck, UV markings, crate locations, and the 2640 override. Avoid trainers, cracked builds, and unofficial APKs. Use Steam or the official demo only.
