Project P.I.T.T. Wand Guide: UV Lamp, Remote, and Hidden Item Secrets
Every Project P.I.T.T. wand-style tool, UV lamp clue, remote, pickaxe, and secret ending item explained for the August 2026 Steam sandbox.
What a Project P.I.T.T. wand actually is
Players searching for a project p.i.t.t. wand are usually hunting a special handheld tool, not a separate cheat menu. In Project P.I.T.T. (also written Project PITT), the intern never gets a trainer, money hack, or debug wand. What you do get is a small set of physics objects that behave like puzzle wands: the remote, the golf club, the pickaxe, and especially the UV lamp that lights up hidden digits on the secret route.
This first-person incremental sandbox from Froke / Fr0ke and Pretty Soon launched on Steam for Windows, Mac, and Linux on 19 August 2026. You manufacture products, feed them into The Maw, and spend the payout on machines. The “cheats” people ask about are in-game secrets: object flight, Unstuck, camera shutdowns, Gambling Crates, and the upstairs chain that leads to the hidden ending. Nothing here is a cracked build or a third-party trainer.
Published walkthroughs do not list a tool officially named Wand. Community reports treat the word as a catch-all for any item you wave at a wall, scale, keypad, or ore layer. If you came here looking for that wand, start with the UV lamp and the remote. Those two objects solve more hidden rooms than any other handheld in the facility.
Handheld tools that act like a wand
The production floor is full of fans and panels, but only a few items change how you interact with secrets. Keep them out of The Maw. If a puzzle object falls in, use Unstuck from the pause menu and buy a replacement from the terminal when the shop allows it. Do not feed fuses on purpose.
| Item | How you unlock it | What it is used for |
|---|---|---|
| Remote | Mid-run shop / terminal | About 1 kg of extra mass on the 200 kg scale; later interactions |
| Golf club | Early / mid shop | Knocks product piles into The Maw before fans take over |
| Broom | Early shop | Sweeps spills and small combo dumps |
| Piñata and bat | FIESTA! shop unlock | Candy becomes a high-value feed item |
| Pickaxe | After the clone room on the hidden route | Mines four product layers, then crafts the Access Card |
| UV lamp | Finish the Anomaly mining layer | Reveals digits 0, 4, 6, and 2 plus the red pickaxe mark |
| Access Card | UV pickaxe interaction | Lets the elevator accept code 2640 |
The remote is the closest early-game stand-in for a project p.i.t.t. wand. It is light enough to carry upstairs, heavy enough to matter on the scale, and easy to lose if you toss it like a duck. The UV lamp is the late-game version: you do not attack with it. You sweep surfaces that already looked suspicious, then write down every glowing number.
Sticky tools are not handheld weapons, but they belong in the same “secret toolkit” conversation. Unlock them as soon as panels appear. A stuck funnel is what turns a workbench into a factory, and a stuck box of heavy junk is one of the cleanest ways to hit 200 kg without gambling every crate you own.
How the factory items feed the secret hunt
Rubber ducks start the loop. The Automater (the workbench that prints ducks) should point at a lane, not at your shoes. Your body can clog the spout. Fans become the real backbone; magnets exist for mountain-sized dumps; pistons, launchers, and bumpers build gates. Those machines are not wand items, but they pay for the shop unlocks that are.
Combo value beats single-item value. A chain stays alive if products keep hitting The Maw with no long gap. Later goods, especially piñata candy, print more money than starter ducks. Gambling Crates can spit bonus cash or special ducks, yet they are a poor long-term economy and a terrible thing to yeet into the pit before you have scanned them. The GAMBLING! achievement is tied to finding the crates, so search the main floor, catwalks, delivery pipes, relit dark rooms, and upstairs before you treat every unidentified box as feed.
Two factory setups matter for item hunting:
- A short Automater-to-panel-to-fan lane funds the shop while you explore.
- A magnet dump of a huge pile is the practical way to bank x200 and x300 combos without standing at the rim all night.
When a phase change drops scripted debris on your line, rebuild. Stronger fans can shove some of that wreckage into The Maw. Do not get sentimental about one layout.
Physics “cheats” that are actually intended
Jumping while holding an object lets you fly. That is intentional, and it is how most players reach catwalks, fuse boxes, and the upstairs scale. Climb too high without disabling surveillance and a five-second countdown ends in I SEE YOU. Throw products at cameras, or find the lights at the ends of support pillars, to break the height lock.
Those two tricks feel like cheats. They are not. They are the movement kit the facility expects you to learn before the 200 kg puzzle.
Controls worth memorizing: F interacts with machines, terminals, and fuses; left click grabs or drops; right click throws after the throw upgrade; middle mouse rotates a held object; R snaps rotation; G resets it; the scroll wheel changes hold distance. If geometry eats you, Unstuck is safer than a new save.
Upstairs items: fuses, the scale, and the 0% pipe
The hidden ending does not start on the factory floor. It starts with three fuses and a scale marked 0/200 kg. Reaching the catwalk alone does not unlock UP?. All three fuses must sit in the fuse box.
The scale wants 200 kilograms of mass, not 200 ducks. Community reports recommend Gambling Crates, bumpers, remotes, or a panel crate packed with dense junk. Hitting the weight opens another grate, door, or chute. That is HEAVY? and, after you use the new opening, OPEN?.
The numbered percentage pipe next to that mechanism will sit at 0% if you feed it raw ducks. That is expected. LOOP? wants later-phase or assembled products. SECRET? is the full upstairs chain: fuses, weight, opened route, and the correct pipe input. Check dark rooms and skipped machines while you are up there.
A figure sometimes appears behind the observation window. Looking at it, or deliberately triggering the camera event, is tied to BAD?. Shutting the cameras down and walking into a formerly watched zone is tied to INVISIBLE?. Those are surveillance secrets, not inventory items, but they sit on the same exploration path as the fuses.
Secret ending toolkit: clones, pickaxe, UV lamp, code 2640
Do not start the clone room until the hidden 0% gate has actually opened. If that gate is still shut, go back to the scale and the percentage pipe. Once it is open, treat the upper area as a new campaign, not another factory optimization problem.
The clone room is a tiny incremental game. Clones run a loop, loops make Energy, and Energy buys speed, production, and more clones. Watch the progress counter, not the Energy bank. The stop condition is 200 progress. One community report describes a board at 196 / 200 with 46 clones, about 5.9k Energy, and a 16.72-second best loop — at that point extra speed upgrades matter less than finishing the counter.
After the minigame, take the pickaxe. Mining has four layers that copy the main product order:
- Duck
- Cash Register
- Piñata
- Anomaly
Each quota only unlocks the next layer. Leave ledges or a rough staircase so you can climb out. When the Anomaly layer ends, you receive the UV lamp. That lamp is the signal to stop digging and walk back through rooms you already visited.
Sweep the earlier upper route, the walls around the old 200 kg section, the locked door and keypad, and any surface that looked marked before you had UV. The useful digits are 0, 4, 6, and 2. Finding the first three is not enough. Community reports say people waste time on three-digit guesses before the 2 appears. Write the digits down, but do not assume the keypad wants them in the order you found them.
The keypad still rejects codes until you own the Access Card. Keep the UV lamp on and look for a red pickaxe symbol. Bring the pickaxe to that mark and complete the interaction. Do not throw the pickaxe away after mining. The hidden route reuses it.
| Secret-route step | Item or input you need | Done when |
|---|---|---|
| Open the 0% gate | Later / assembled products in the pipe | Gate is physically open |
| Clone room | Energy spent on speed, production, clones | Progress hits 200 |
| Four mining layers | Pickaxe | Anomaly quota finished |
| UV sweep | UV lamp | Digits 0, 4, 6, 2 recorded |
| Card craft | Pickaxe on the UV pickaxe mark | Access Card in inventory |
| Elevator | Access Card + code 2640 | ACCESS GRANTED / override accepted |
| Stay on the new path | No extra factory rebuild | Secret Ending text appears |
The working elevator code is 2640. If that number fails, you almost certainly lack the Access Card. After the override, stay on the new route. You do not need more Anomalies downstairs. The Secret Ending and the main ending are tracked separately. END? is the first statistics or credits beat from feeding The Maw; END! is the later, fuller close after remaining phases, assembly, upstairs work, and every terminal purchase. Seeing the Secret Ending screen means that hidden route is finished even if one achievement toast looks wrong.
One community write-up clocked a first full save at roughly 13–14 hours, mostly from rebuilding lines, guessing codes, and mining without knowing there were four layers. The route itself is much shorter once the order is known: gate, clones, 200, four layers, UV, digits, card, 2640, ending.
Achievement items you should not ignore
All 23 Steam achievements can land on one save. The long tails are 15,000 products fed, a x300 combo, $1,000,000,000,000, and buying every terminal unlock. Handle the crate hunt early. Pause the line for MESS! (500 loose products) and LAG! (1,000 loose) before performance dies, then clean the room.
A practical 100% item order looks like this: first duck for QWACK!, cash register for KACHING!, Automater plus fan for MORE! and EXTRA!, explore cameras and crates, finish the 200 kg scale, buy Piñata and Anomaly as they appear, bank MEGA! and FAST! (400 products per minute on a short, clog-free lane), let the factory grind STUFFED! and RICH!, purchase everything for CONSUMERISM!, then close the upstairs chain for END? and END!.
If RICH! refuses to pop, the target is exactly one trillion dollars. If UP? stays locked after a climb, a fuse is still on the floor. If you are stuck at 9/10 crates, recheck pipes, dark rooms, and upper walks. If FAST! stutters, finish LAG!, delete loose junk, and drop visual extras. Those are facility problems, not missing wand problems.
Common item mistakes
Your combo dying around 70–80 is usually a leak, a fan aimed at a wall, or your intern standing in the Automater stream. A phase change flattening the factory is scripted. The upstairs pipe ignoring ducks means you have not unlocked the right product yet. I SEE YOU on every climb means cameras or pillar lights are still live.
There is no legitimate full-game torrent, cracked EXE, or Android APK. Project PITT is a PC Steam release with an official demo on Steam and itch.io. It is not a Roblox experience, not Fallout’s The Pitt, and not a civic Pittsburgh project. If a site offers a “free wand download,” it is not this game.
Keep the keyword search honest: a project p.i.t.t. wand is the cluster of special tools above, with the UV lamp as the one you literally wave at hidden paint. Use those items, follow the 2640 override, and the secret rooms open without any external cheat software.
FAQ
Is there an official wand item in Project P.I.T.T.? Published guides do not name a tool called Wand. Searches for a project p.i.t.t. wand almost always mean the remote, pickaxe, or UV lamp — the handhelds used on the scale, mining layers, and secret keypad route.
How do you get the UV lamp? Open the hidden 0% gate, finish the clone room to 200 progress, then mine all four layers in order: Duck, Cash Register, Piñata, Anomaly. The lamp drops when the last quota completes. Go back through old rooms instead of digging further.
What is the elevator code, and why might 2640 fail? The working code is 2640 after you craft the Access Card on the UV pickaxe mark. Without that card, the keypad rejects the number. The Secret Ending is separate from the main END? / END! pair.
